When Penton Media (now Informa) made its way to Las Vegas for The Special Event, an esteemed gathering of event industry professionals, they entrusted Technisch Creative, to orchestrate and deliver a breathtaking Opening Night Party. This grand affair, attended by approximately 2500 guests, spanned four unforgettable hours filled with excitement and wonder.

The event required meticulous coordination, as it involved transporting over 2000 guests from the host hotel to the stunning venue via motorcoach. We artistically crafted eleven distinct themed areas, complete with mesmerizing decor, captivating entertainment, and thoughtfully curated menus. More than 250 performers, including esteemed celebrities like Paige O’Hara (the beloved voice of Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast), Robin Leach, and Penn and Teller, graced the stage and enthralled the audience. Our team worked closely with the artists and their management to ensure their seamless performances. Comedy acts, ice skaters, impersonators, fire performers, aerial artists, stilt walkers, live bands, dancers, and even a parade accompanied by original event-themed music were among the myriad of spectacles that filled the night. And to truly captivate our audience, we even arranged for a remarkable human flight with a jetpack, soaring above the amazed onlookers.

Technisch Creative played a pivotal role in co-creating the event’s overarching concept, providing technical direction, managing suppliers, securing sponsorships, designing menus, producing captivating videos, and creating detailed CAD drawings. We liaised with the fire marshal to obtain the necessary permits for fire performances and pyrotechnic displays, ensuring utmost safety and compliance. Working closely with local authorities, we navigated the intricacies of live music performances within the confines of local noise ordinances.
